Bleed Blue Day Canceled Due to Inclement Weather

STORRS, Conn. – Bleed Blue Day, originally scheduled for April 9, has been canceled due to expected inclement weather. All games and scrimmages will be played as scheduled and the $5 ticket offer to attend Saturday's baseball and softball games will still be available. The baseball team is scheduled to play St. John's at Elliot Ballpark at 4 p.m., and the softball team will welcome Creighton to Burrill Family Field at 2 p.m.
Fans still have the chance to check out the field hockey team's scrimmage against Dartmouth and Columbia beginning at 10:40 a.m. at the George J. Sherman Family Sports Complex and the men's soccer scrimmage against URI at Morrone Stadium at 4 p.m.
Football practice will now take place indoors at the Shenkman Training Center and will be closed to the public.
