Brady, USA Win Gold at FIBA U18 Americas Championship

BUENOS AIRES – Incoming UConn women's basketball freshman Ice Brady helped the USA Basketball Women's U18 National Team to gold at the 2022 FIBA U18 Women's Americas Championship with an 82-77 win over Canada Sunday.
Brady grabbed a game-high 15 rebounds, which tied the U.S. record in a U18 contest.
The San Diego, Calif., native led the tournament with a 65.5 field-goal percentage. Brady tied for fourth in the tournament with 13.0 points per game and sixth with 7.5 rebounds per game.
The United States has won 10 straight U18 championships dating back to 2000.
