UConn WSOC Announces 2022 Schedule

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's soccer team has announced its 2022 schedule, which features 17 games.
UConn continues to improve year-over-year under fifth-year head coach Margaret Rodriguez. The Huskies notched a 9-8-1 overall record in fall 2021 and competed in the BIG EAST Championship.
The Huskies have two exhibitions scheduled before kicking off the official season: Thursday, Aug. 9 at UMass and Saturday, Aug. 13 vs. Quinnipiac.
UConn will play seven non-conference games before beginning BIG EAST action, which includes 10 games.
The Huskies open the regular season on the road at Army on Thursday, Aug. 18 and at Syracuse on Sunday, Aug. 21.
UConn begins play at Morrone Stadium vs. South Carolina on Thursday, Aug. 25 and vs. UMass Lowell on Sunday, Aug. 28.
The Huskies travel to Northeastern on Sunday, Sept. 4 before closing non-conference play against two in-state foes: at CCSU on Sunday, Sept. 11, and at home vs. Yale on Friday, Sept. 16.
UConn begins BIG EAST play at Creighton on Thursday, Sept. 22. The Huskies will also travel to St. John's (Sunday, Sept. 25), Marquette (Sunday, Oct. 2), Xavier (Sunday, Oct. 9) and Villanova (Thursday, Oct. 20).
The Huskies will host conference opponents Georgetown (Thursday, Sept. 29), DePaul (Thursday, Oct. 13), Butler (Sunday, Oct. 16), Providence (Sunday, Oct. 23) and Seton Hall (Thursday, Oct 27).
The 2022 BIG EAST Championship will begin with first round games on Oct. 30Â and the semifinals and championship games on Nov. 3 and 6, respectively. The matches will be at campus sites.
Ticket information and the Huskies' promotional schedule will be available in July.
