UConn WBB to Travel to Maryland on Dec. 11

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's basketball team will travel to Maryland on Sunday, Dec. 11, to face the Terps in the XFINITY Center in College Park, Md.
UConn is 7-0 all-time vs. Maryland. The teams last faced off on Nov. 19, 2017, in the XL Center, a 97-72 win for the Huskies.
The Terrapins notched a 23-9 record in 2021-22, including a 13-4 mark in Big Ten play. Maryland advanced to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament.
The Maryland matchup is UConn's second non-conference date announced for the 2022-23 season. The Huskies will face Florida State on Dec. 18 in the Basketball Hall of Fame Women's Showcase at Mohegan Sun.
The Huskies and Terps signed a two-game contract to begin in the 2020-21 season, but the series was delayed due to COVID. Maryland will travel to Connecticut in 2023-24.
