The Standard: In Season, the second season of the UConn+ original series, follows the UConn Women's Basketball team throughout the 2023-2024 season. The series will feature exclusive interviews with the players and coaches giving insight right from the source on the biggest games and biggest moments all season. Last year, UConn+'s The Standard showcased the team as they prepared for the 2022-2023 season, this year the focus moves to game action, new storylines and the same team that has captured the hearts and minds of the college basketball world.
The series is a collaboration between UConn Athletics, UConn Sports Properties and LEARFIELD Studios.
In Episode 1: We're Back – available now – the season begins as the UConn Women's Basketball team takes on their first four non-conference opponents. Paige Bueckers plays her first game in over 500 days, freshman earn their roles, and head coach Geno Auriemma enters season 39 with a new energy to uphold The Standard.
