UConn and Rice Announce Two Future Games

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn football program has entered into an agreement to play two games against Rice University during the 2024 and 2025 seasons, announced on Thursday.
The Huskies will host the Owls on October 26, 2024 and then make a return trip to Rice on October 11, 2025. The Huskies and the Owls also have a previously scheduled gaem set for the 2028 season in East Hartford (10/7/28).
UConn and Rice face-off for the first time this past fall, a 38-31 Husky win on the road in Houston. UConn quarterback Ta'Quan Roberson (Orange, N.J.) threw for 215 yards and a pair of touchdowns and the defense forced four turnovers to help the Huskies overcome a 14-0 deficit on the road to their first win of 2023.
The full 2024 UConn football schedule will be released in mid-January.
