Christian Haynes Named College Football Network All-American

STORRS, Conn. - UConn r-senior Christian Haynes picked-up his first postseason honor being named to the 2023 College Football Network All-American team announced on Monday.ย Haynes earned a spot on the third team All-American offense after his final season in Storrs.
The Bowie, Md. native was named an Associated Press Mid-Season All-American (2nd team) back in October and has accepted an invitation to play in the 2024 Reese's Senior Bowl next monthย .ย Haynes was also invited to play in the 2024 East-West Shrine Bowl.ย He finished the season starting all 12 games for the Huskies and anchored a UConn offensive line that allowed just 12 sacks on the season (1.0 pg), ranking 9th in FBS among the nation's leaders.ย ย
Haynes finished his UConn career making 49ย straight starts along the offensive line.ย He was was named an AP and Sporting News All-American after the 2022 season.
