No. 4 Huskies to Host St. John’s Tuesday

STORRS, Conn. – The fourth-ranked UConn women's basketball team (24-4, 16-1 BIG EAST) plays its XL Center season finale against St. John's (19-7, 10-7) Tuesday at 7 p.m. The game will air on SNY and the UConn Sports Network (97-9 ESPN).
In honor of National Girls & Women in Sports Day, members of other UConn Athletics women's programs will host meet and greets pregame in the XL Center Exhibition Hall. Five hundred rally towels will be given away at the meet and greet.
Ahead of the game on Tuesday, UConn will honor senior practice players James Gengenbach, Quinn Hills, Seth Lake, Robert Schoff, Ran Bi, Eric Habjan, Nik Hay, Darien Lloyd, Jarrett Michaels and Jared Lobo.
The Huskies picked up a big 60-51 win at No. 14 Villanova last Saturday. Graduate student Lou Lopez Sénéchal led the game with 22 points. Graduate student Dorka Juhász (14 points, 10 rebounds) and junior Aaliyah Edwards (13 points, 14 rebounds) each had double-doubles vs. the Wildcats. UConn out-rebounded Villanova 47-25 in the game.
UConn is 47-17 all-time vs. St. John's. The Huskies beat the Red Storm, 82-52, on Jan. 11 in Elmont, N.Y. Graduate student Lou Lopez Sénéchal led the team with 20 points while graduate student Dorka Juhász had 18 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists.
The Huskies have one final home game after Tuesday as UConn faces Xavier next Monday in Gampel Pavilion. UConn will honor Dorka Juhász and Lou Lopez Sénéchal on Senior Night ahead of the game.
