Marc Morrison Earns First Outdoor Big East Men’s Field Athlete of the Week Honors

STORRS, Conn. - The Big East Conference announced sophomore long jumper, Marc Morrison, to the Track & Field Big East Men's Field Athlete of the Week on Wednesday for the first set of weekly awards in the outdoor season.
At UCF Black & Gold in Orlando, Morrison jumped 7.58 meters which ranks him seventh in the NCAA. That jump also places him sixth in the Outdoor All-Time Record List in UConn program history.
Morrison next competes at Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, NC from Thursday, Mar. 23 to Saturday, Mar. 25.
