Marc Morrison Earns Third Big East Field Athlete of the Week Honors

STORRS, Conn. - The Big East Conference announced sophomore long jumper Marc Morrison to his third Big East Field Athlete of the Week award on Wednesday.
In the long jump at the Virginia Challenge last weekend, Morrison finished with a strong mark tying his personal record and fourth all-time mark in UConn program history with a 7.64m result. That result leads the conference and ranks him 45th in the nation.Â
He placed second in the event giving him his 10th top-five finish this season.
UConn next competes at the Penn Relays and the Yale Invitational starting on Thursday, April 27 through Sunday, April 30.Â
