Incoming Freshman KK Arnold to Participate in USA Basketball U19 Trials

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Incoming UConn women's basketball freshman KK Arnold was one of 24 athletes who will participate at the 2023 USA Women's U19 Team trials at the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
Trials begin May 12 with the 12-member team expected to be announced on May 15. The 2023 FIBA U19 Women's World Cup is scheduled for July 15-23 in Madrid.
Athletes eligible for this team must be U.S. citizens, born on or after January 1, 2004.
Arnold won gold with USA Basketball at the 2022 FIBA U16 Americas Championship and at the 2022 FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup. She was also a member of the inaugural USA wone's team at the 2023 Nike Hoop Summit.
A 5-foot-9 point guard from Germantown, Wis., Arnold is the No. 5 recruit in the class of 2024. She was named a McDonald's All-American and is a three-time AP Wisconsin State Player of the Year.
