Riley Daly Named Women's Lacrosse Director of Operations

STORRS, Conn.- UConn women's lacrosse head coach Katie Woods has announced the addition of Riley Daly to the coaching staff. Daly will join the Huskies as the director of lacrosse operations.
Daly returns to the Huskies after an accomplished playing career, playing four years at UConn. In her senior season in 2025, Daly started all 17 games as a senior captain and was named to the all-BIG EAST First Team as a unanimous selection and was selected to the IWLCA Senior All-Star Game.
Daly led the Huskies with 103 draw controls on the season. She joined Sydney Watson and Madelyn George as the only Huskies to eclipse 100 draw controls in a single season, highlighted by a career-high 13 draws in a win over Xavier.
Daly was named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week twice in her senior season and scored her first career goal against UMass on March 1st. In 2024, Daly was named to the IWLCA Northeast Region Second Team and was a unanimous all-BIG EAST First Team selection, starting in all 18 games.
Daly finished her UConn career 4th in single-season draw controls (103), 4th in career draw controls (151), and 4th in single-game draw controls (13).
