MIAMI – Six former members of the UConn women's basketball team are on Unrivaled rosters for the second season of the 3-on-3 pro basketball league, beginning Monday.
Co-founded by UConn alumnae Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, Unrivaled features eight clubs (Breeze, Hive, Laces, Lunar Owls, Mist, Phantom, Rose, Vinyl) with six players per roster. Games will be played on a condensed full court with three seven-minute quarters followed by a fourth quarter played under "winning score". The winning score will be determined by adding 11 points to the leading team's score and the first team to reach that total wins the game.
All games in the 2025 season will be played at the Wayfair Arena in Miami. The season will run Jan. 5-March 4.
For the second season, Collier is team captain for the Lunar Owls and Stewart is captain for the Mist. In her first pro season, Paige Bueckers is captain for the Breeze.
Collier is joined by Aaliyah Edwards on the Lunar Owls. Azurá Stevens is a member of the Rose and Tiffany Hayes is a member of the Phantom.
Collier announced last week that she will miss the 2026 season while rehabbing ankle injuries.
The 2026 Unrivaled season starts Monday afternoon with the Mist vs. Hive at 1 p.m, and Vinyl vs. Laces at 2:15 p.m. on truTV. The Lunar Owls face the Rose at 8 p.m. and the Phantom face the Breeze at 9:15 p.m. on TNT/truTV.
