Fudd Repeats as BIG EAST Player of the Week

STORRS, Conn. – For the second straight week, UConn women's basketball graduate student Azzi Fudd was named the BIG EAST Player of the Week, as announced by the league Monday.
In two wins last week, Fudd averaged 22.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game while shooting 54.5% from the field and 66.7% from beyond the arc.
In a 94-44 win over Creighton, Fudd scored 19 points on 8-13 shooting with four rebounds, four assists and two steals.
In a 71-56 win at Marquette, Fudd led the game with 25 points on 10-20 shooting, including 5-8 on threes. She added two rebounds and four steals.
In the month of February, Fudd is averaging 22.6 points per game while shooting 55.6% and 61.3% from three with 3.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 3.2 steals per game.
Fudd ranks sixth nationally in three-point percentage (46.3) and three pointers made (81).
This is Fudd's sixth career BIG EAST Player of the Week honor and fourth of the season.
