NEW YORK – For the first time in her career, UConn women's basketball sophomore Allie Ziebell was named the BIG EAST Player of the Week, as announced by the conference Monday.

The 10 threes tied the program record for most in a game, and the 34 points set the program record for most by a reserve player. Ziebell added three assists and two steals.
Ziebell had 10 points on 3-6 shooting and two rebounds in a 96-66 win over No. 15 Tennessee on Sunday.
The top-ranked Huskies (23-0, 12-0 BIG EAST) travel to DePaul (5-19, 2-11) on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on truTV.
