Huskies Add R.J. Shieh for 2026-27

STORRS, CT - UConn head men's golf coach Dave Pezzino announced the addition of student-athlete R.J. Shieh to the Huskies roster for the 2026-27 season.

The Taipei, Taiwan native comes to Storrs after attending Taipei Municipal Heping High School. He is currently ranked 379^th in the World Amateur Golf Rankings.

Shieh has been selected to represent Chinese Taipei in international competition. He competed in the 2024 & 2025 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship. He has also competed in the 2024 AJGA Junior Players Championship. In addition, he made the cut at the 2024 & 2025 Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship.
