Men's Soccer Releases 2026 Schedule

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men's soccer program has announced its 2026 fall schedule on Monday afternoon. The Huskies 18-game schedule features 12 home matches at Ray Reid Field at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium.

UConn is coming off a strong 2025 campaign, finishing the year at 12-5-4 for the program's highest win total since 2018, and securing a third straight winning season under fifth-year head coach Chris Gbandi. The Huskies earned their first at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament since 2018, receiving the No. 13 overall seed, the program's highest seed since 2012. UConn also reached the BIG EAST Tournament Championship game and captured its first NCAA Tournament victory under Gbandi in 2025.
The Huskies are set to kick off the 2026 season on Thursday, August 20 against Syracuse at Morrone Stadium.
UConn will open the season with a challenging out of conference slate of opponents, highlighted by matchups against four teams that reached the NCAA Tournament last year, Syracuse (Aug. 20), Western Michigan (Aug. 30), Siena (Sept. 22), and Byrant (Oct. 6). All four matches will be played at Morrone Stadium.
UConn will also welcome out of conference opponents Fairfield (Aug. 27), Brown (Sept. 3), Fisher College (Sept. 6), and Sacred Heart (Sept. 9) to Morrone Stadium. The Huskies will go on the road to take on UMASS (Aug. 23), and Harvard (Sept. 12) to conclude its out of conference slate.
UConn begins its eight match BIG EAST schedule at Morrone Stadium against Seton Hall on Friday, September 18. The Huskies will also host conference foes DePaul (Oct. 10), Providence (Oct. 24), and Georgetown (Nov. 6) in Storrs.
UConn will hit the road for conference matches against St. John's (Sept. 26), Villanova (Oct. 2), Marquette (Oct. 16), and Xavier (Oct. 31).
