As a Junior in 2018-19: Captured three individual victories during junior season. Won the 500 and 1650 Free vs. Boston College (Dec. 1). Earned All-Conference honors with his third place finish in the 1650 free at the 2019 American Athletic Conference Championships.

As a Sophomore in 2017-18: Finished sixth in the 1650 Freestyle at the American Athletic Conference Championships...Registered a first place finish in the 1000 Free at Boston University...At House of Champions meet recorded an NCAA B Qualifying time with a 3:32.23 in the 500 Free...Placed fourth in the CSCAA National Collegiate Open Water Championships with a time of 1:02.04. in the 5000-meter race.

As a Freshman in 2016-17: Was second in the 1650-yard freestyle at the American Athletic Conference Championship in a time of 15:02.00...earned all-conference honors for that performance...was second in the 1650 at the Princeton Invitational in 16:15.84...in the summer of 2017, was 15th in the 1,500-meter freestyle at the USA Swimming National Championships in Indianapolis in 15:31.96 and was 32nd in the 800-meter freestyle.

Before UConn: Earned four varsity letters from Cheshire High School..an All-American and All-State swimmer in the 200-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle…team captain his junior and senior seasons...swam with the Cheshire Sea Dogs club team...participated in the YMCA Long Course Championship in July 2016 in Indianapolis...registered a 3:58.90 second finish in the 400-meter freestyle and earned first place in both the 1500-meter freestyle (15:35.36) and 800-meter freestyle (8:11.69)...the 800-meter result beat a national record by over 12 seconds...also competed in the 1500-meter freestyle at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials in Omaha...was a scholastic All-American and member of schoo honor roll.
