Personal Development
The mission is to create opportunities for student-athletes to discover themselves (goals, values, strengths as well as weaknesses) without a focus on his/her athleticism. In addition, provide and offer student-athletes the resources they need to succeed while in college as well as post- collegiately. Furthermore, it’s about preparing student-athletes for life now and after college with workshops on career exploration, preparation, network and enhancement.

Personal Development Opportunities:
- FYE/SYE Courses are 1 credit courses offered to all freshmen student-athletes to assist with the transition into college as well as sophomore students to assist with career direction, major selection amongst other items.
- ESPY 3098 is offered to junior and senior students to prepare students for life after college sports, with a focus on career exploration, networking, finances/budgeting and more.
- Health and Wellness workshops – Mental Health, Stress and Time Management, Problem Solving.
- Life After College Series – Offered to all juniors and seniors. Focus is on self-identify and creating goals as well as plans for future
