2022 Season: Team Captain. Reached the NCAA Tournament four times in his career.the first Husky in the modern era. Played in 29 games and made 16 starts. Closes his UConn career ninth in games played with 208, tied for fifth with 53 career doubles. Went 2-3 on Opening Night against USF (2/18) with a double and run batted. Knocked in a pair of runs in a victory at FIU (3/5). Pinch-hit double in the ninth inning at Pepperdine (3/13). Came off the bench and delivered pinch-hit RBI single vs. URI (3/25). Recorded a three-hit game with three runs scored and pair of RBIs vs. UMass (4/19).
2021 Season: South Bend Regional All-Tournament team. Team Captain. Started all 50 games that he played, mainly at second base. Hit .295 with 56 hits, 38 runs scored, one home run and 29 RBIs. Had a career-high five five stolen bases. Led the BIG EAST Conference with 15 doubles on the season. His 50 career doubles is tied for sixth in program history. Has totaled 174 hits in 173 career starts. Had 17 multi-hit games in 2021. Went 4-6 with three runs scored and RBI in victory at No. 14 Virginia (2/20). Went 6-12 with a home run, four runs scored, two RBIs at Southern Mississippi (2/26-28). Went 2-4 with three RBIs at Saint Joseph's (3/19). 3-4 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored vs. UMass (4/3). 2-3 with three RBIs in BIG EAST conference opener vs. Georgetown (4/9).Contributed a 2-3 performance with a double and RBI vs. Seton Hall (5/20). Registered a 2-4 night with two doubles and RBI at No. 10 Notre Dame (6/5) in South Bend Regional. Followed it up with a 3-5 day at the dish vs. Central Michigan (6/6) in South Bend Regional. Has played in NCAA Tournament all three completed season at UConn.Â
2020 Season: Started all 13 games in season shortened by Covid-19. Hit .275 with four doubles and 12 RBIs. Added four runs scored and four walks. Tied for second on the team with three multi-RBI games. Was second on the team by recording an eight-game hit streak (2/16-3/7). Racked up three hits against No. 8 Michigan in the MLB4 Tournament. The next weekend, notched a three-hit, three RBI performance including a go-ahead RBI single in the 9th to beat No. 1 Michigan (2/21) in Port St. Lucie, Fla. Drove in three at Presbyterian (3/7).Â
2019 Summer: Played in 34 games with the Harwich Mariners in the Cape Cod League. Earned Cape Cod League All-Star status. Hit .271 with 29 hits, five doubles, one triple, one home run and nine RBIs. Added 19 runs scored, 12 walks and one stolen base.
2019 Season: Played in 62 games and made 58 starts for the Huskies. Hit .271 with 56 hits including 16 doubles, one triple, three home runs and 43 RBIs. Led the team with 46 walks. Added 23 runs, .408 on-base percentage and slugged .401. 15 multi-hit games and 11 multi-RBI contests. Hit go-ahead grand slam vs. No. 4 Louisville (2/17) to help propel Huskies to series-win. Homered at College of Charleston (2/22). Notched a pair of hits and drove in two runs vs. Northeastern (3/1). 2-4 with a home run vs. Michigan State (3/16). Went 2-3 with two doubles and three RBIs in win at Bryant (4/9). Smacked go-ahead two-run single to help win rubber game vs. Memphis (4/14). 2-4 with a bases-clearing double and four RBIs at UMass (4/16). Recorded two-run double at Sam Houston State (4/26). Had 3-3 day with two RBIs vs. Wichita State (5/4). Recorded multi-hit games vs. Nebraska (5/31), Harvard (6/1) and Nebraska (6/2) in NCAA Oklahoma City Regional.
2018 Season: Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American…American Athletic Conference Rookie Position Player of the Year…Led the team with 15 doubles in 54 games played…Made 52 starts, hit .255 with 48 hits, 21 runs scored, one home run and 33 RBIs…Most doubles by a freshman since Bobby Melley (2013, 16)…Nine multi-hit games and tied for second on the team with seven multi-RBI games…First collegiate at-bat resulted in a pinch-hit double on Opening Day at Kennesaw State (Feb. 16)…Doubled in first four games played…Went 2-5 with three RBIs in a win at The Citadel (March 10)…Hit a two-run double in a series opening victory at No. 20 Wichita State…Go-ahead two-run single in the eighth inning at Cincinnati (April 22)…Stroked a two-run double at Memphis (May 6) in the series finale…Had a pair of hits vs. USF (May 25) and ECU (May 26) in The American Championships…Went 2-5 with three RBIs vs. LIU Brooklyn to lead the Huskies to an NCAA Conway Regional elimination game victory…Hit a dramatic go-ahead eighth inning home run at No. 15 Coastal Carolina to advance the Huskies to the NCAA Conway Regional Final.
High School: Lettered four years at Vincentian Academy under head coach Paul Quarantillo…Named to the Pennsylvania District 7 All-Section team as a shortstop all four years…Led Vincentian Academy to its first-ever Pennsylvania State title in 2016, going 2-3 at the plate in the state title game…Tied a national high school record by hitting two grand slams in one inning in his junior year against St. Joseph High School, finished the game with three home runs...Hit .548 as a freshman and hit two home runs in one inning (a solo shot and a grand slam) versus Brentwood High School…Had a phenomenal sophomore year hitting .660 with a remarkable 2.022 OPS…As a senior, led all high school Western Pennsylvania hitters with seven home runs…Finished his high school career holding nearly every career hitting record at Vincentian Academy…Guided his high school to the post-season all four years.
