2019 Season: 29th Round pick by the Oakland Athletics in the 2019 MLB Draft. ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I All-Region Second Team. All-New England Second Team. Second Team All-Conference performer. Led the team with 59 runs scored, 16 stolen bases and 81 hits. Hit .325 with 10 doubles, three triples, five home runs and 42 RBI’s. Led team with 22 multi-hit games and added 10 multi-RBI contests. Recorded back-to-back three-hit games at Charleston (2/23-24). Notched a 10-game hit streak from Feb. 22 – March 9, hitting .413 during the stretch with 19 hits and 11 runs scored. Helped sweep Michigan State in four-game set with five hits, seven RBIs and scored five runs. Registered a multi-homer game at Houston (3/24) with four hits and three runs scored to clinch series win. Drove in a season-high four runs in win vs. Hartford (3/26). April 16 – May 10 recorded a team-high 13-game hitting streak. Collected five hits and picked up three RBIs against Nebraska (6/2) in NCAA Oklahoma City Regional.
2018 Summer: Was en route to an All-Star caliber season with the Keene Swamp Bats in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League before a summer-ending injury on July 11… Hit. 287 with 31 hits, 19 runs scored, three doubles, two home runs, 13 RBIs and 15 stolen bases in just 26 games… Nine multi-hit games… Went 14-24 (.583) in a five-game stretch (June 18-22) that featured five runs scored, two doubles, one home run, six RBIs and a pair of stolen bases… Went 2-4 with a homer and two RBIs vs. Winnipesaukee (July 7).
2018 Season: Played in 59 games and started 57 in his first season in Storrs…Was a weapon defensively with a .967 fielding percentage in the infield…Recorded a .302 AVG with 62 hits, 31 runs scored, five doubles, one triple, four home runs, 22 RBIs and was a perfect 13-13 on the base paths…Registered 12 sac bunts to lead the team and ranked first in The American…Led the Huskies with a .385 AVG, 30 hits and .417 on-base percentage in American Conference games…21 multi-hit games and five multi-RBI contests…Recorded a two-hit day at Georgia State (Feb. 17)…Drilled a two-run triple at The Citadel (March 10)…Went 3-3 with an RBI vs. CCSU (March 30)…Five-straight multi-hit contests from April 13-21…Hit first home run of the season at Cincinnati (April 22)…Drilled second dinger of the season vs. Tulane (April 27) in midst of three-hit game at Dunkin’ Donuts Park…Homered in back-to-back games on vs. No. 9 ECU (May 18) and vs. Cincinnati (May 23)…Collected a pair of multi-hit efforts vs. LIU Brooklyn (June 2) and at No. 15 Coastal Carolina in the NCAA Conway Regional.
Prior to UConn: Played two seasons at Sierra College in Rocklin, Calif. in the Big 8 Conference, part of the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association (CCCBCA)…Was teammates with Jeff Kersten...Had a stellar sophomore season earning First Team All-Conference honors…Ranked third in the Big 8 with a 362 average…Finished in top-10 in the conference in stolen bases (9th, 8) and slugging percentage (9th, .496)…Recorded 51 hits, eight doubles, one triple, three home runs, 25 RBIs, 34 runs scored and .424 on-base percentage…2017 Academic All-State.
