2020-21 (Junior Season): Was 1-1 in her two singles appearances on the season, both at the No. 6 spot.
2019-20 (Sophomore Season): Led the Huskies with 10 doubles victories during her sophomore campaign…She finished 5-3 during the shortened spring dual match season…Had a team-best 7-4 mark when playing with freshman teammate Denise Lai…The duo was 4-3 at No. 2 doubles…Got to the finals with Lai of the B Flight at the Quinnipiac Invitational…The two earned wins over Seton Hall, Drexel, Cornell, Binghamton, and LIU during the spring…She won three singles matches on the year.
2018-19 (Freshman Season): Went 10-12 in singles play during her rookie season…Played to a 4-4 mark at No. 6 singles during the spring dual matches…In doubles play, earned nine victories, winning five times with senior Jacquelyn Fitz-Randolph…Won a share of the D Flight with teammate Elizabeth Kozyi in her first collegiate action at the Quinnipiac Invitational, winning three matches.
Before UConn: Was born in Texas but has lived and played tennis in Mexico, Venezuela, Dubai, Argentina and Spain...In 2016, she was ranked No. 373 in the world by the International Tennis Federations (ITF) and has been a finalist in singles and double play, winning two doubles championships in her career....Home schooled and completed high school course work online through Univ. of Nebraska.
Personal: Born October 1, 1998...Luciana Rabines is the daughter of Jaime Rabines and Lucia Castaneda...She has one brother, Nicholas Rabines...Plans to major in political science and psychology.
