Benjamin Sackett begins his second season as the Assistant Football Equipment Manager at UConn in 2025. Sackett returned to his alma mater in the summer of 2024.
In his first season working with the UConn football program in 2024, Sackett managed gameday communications technologies for the coaching staff. He is also responsible with working with head equipment manager on coordinating gameday and practice needs throughout the season and also overseeing a student-manager staff.
Sackett returned to Storrs after spending two seasons at the University of Minnesota. He began working as a the interim Olympic sports equipment manager before moving into the role of post-graduate football equipment intern for the 2022 season. He was then elevated to the assistant Olympic sport equipment manager, working with the wrestling team, as well as the assistant football equipment manager for 2023.
He earned his bachelor's of science degree in sport management from UConn in 2021.
