Will Aloia was named Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Revenue Sharing Strategy in May of 2026. Aloia has been a valued member of the UConn compliance staff since joining in October 2021 as Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance Services.
Aloia assists in the managerial oversight of the Office of Athletics Compliance ensuring NCAA, Big East Conference, Hockey East Association, Coastal Athletic Association and University rules and regulations are adhered to. Aloia now manages and oversees the documenting and reporting of the House v NCAA settlement outcomes (e.g., CAPS, NIL Go) and assists in the strategic oversight of UConn's revenue sharing program. Aloia received the 2025 NAAC Emerging Leader Award and was recently selected to participate in the NACDA Senior Administrators Mentoring Institute program for the 2026-27 academic year.
Prior to UConn, Aloia worked at Seton Hall as an Associate Athletic Director, Compliance for nearly two years and had a three-year stint at Manhattan College as Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance and Life Skills.
While at Seton Hall, he served as the primary liaison with the Academic Support Services for Student-Athletes Office, Office of Financial Aid, Office of the Registrar, Office of the Bursar, Office of Admissions and Faculty Athletics Representative and also acted as a University Advisor to students who file complaints under Title IX and students who are accused of sexual misconduct.
He also educated and monitored all the head coaches, assistant coaches and Seton Hall student-athletes.
At Manhattan, Aloia worked as the athletics department Chief Compliance Officer, managing the overall day-to-day operations of the compliance office. He also served as a sport administrator for baseball, men's soccer, men's and women's swimming and diving and women's rowing.Â
Aloia also worked at The College of Saint Rose and was a graduate assistant at the University of New Haven.
He received his bachelor's degree in education at the University of Connecticut in 2012 and a master's degree in sports management at the University of New Haven.Â
