The bulk of the Huskies scoring came from senior captain Christine Vorvis (Southport, Conn.), who advanced to the finals of the No. 4 Singles Flight. She would fall to Elizabeth Gass of Harvard, 1-6, 3-6, but had a great weekend going 2- 1.
Vorvis also paired up with junior Anne Dewberry (Glastonbury, Conn.) to move on to the finals of the No. 2 Doubles Flight. Lindsay Cutter and Molly Moran of Vermont ended their run at the bracket title with an 8-0 victory.
Connecticut tied for fifth with New Hampshire, while host Vermont took the team championship title.
UConn (2-3) continues its fall season, hosting Holy Cross on Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 3:30 p.m.
