Upcoming Connecticut Baseball Schedule Retooled

STORRS, Conn. -- With the forecast calling for inclement weather late Wednesday and continuing into Thursday and the surface of the University of Connecticut's J.O. Christian Field still unplayable after spending the majority of the winter under a blanket of snow, the schedule for this weekend's UConn baseball games has been altered.

The Huskies' game against Holy Cross, originally scheduled for Thursday (March 22) at 3 p.m., has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date. The Friday (March 23) home doubleheader against Villanova and Sunday's (March 25) twinbill against Rutgers will both be played at noon, but all contests have been moved to Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium in Norwich, CT.

There will be no admission charge and no concessions on either Friday or Sunday.
