ATHENS, GA - The University of Connecticut’s final
game against Georgia scheduled for Saturday at
Foley Field has been cancelled due to inclement
weather in the area.
With the outlook calling for more rain and a possible snowstorm over the weekend in the Northeast, the final contest of the three-game set will not be rescheduled.
UConn will return to action March 9-11 as the Huskies travel to Minneapolis, MN, to face Minnesota. Friday’s game is set to get underway at 7:30 p.m., Saturday’s at 3 p.m. with the series concluding Sunday at 1 p.m.
