Melissa Kull Competes at NCAA Swimming and Divng Championships

AUBURN, AL (MAR 21) - Senior Diver Melissa Kull (Poughkeepsie, NY) competed at the NCAA Championships in the three-meter diving event on Friday, March 21.  Kull finished in 35th with an overall score of 232.45.  The individual winner of the event was Yulia Pakhalina from the University of Houston.

Kull completed the one-meter spring board diving event on Thursday, March 20.  Kull finished in 34th place with an overall score of 216.55.  Pakhalina also won the one-meter diving event.

Kull qualified for the NCAA Championships with an outstanding performance at the NCAA Zone A Qualifying meet last weekend.  The completion of the NCAA Diving Championships also puts an end to the University of Connecticut's swimming and diving season.
