Huskies Again Among the Top in the Nation in Attendance

STORRS, CT (January 30) – The University of Connecticut men’s soccer program was No. 2 in the nation for the 2003 season in average home attendance and No. 3 in total home attendance records, as recorded by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) office. For the last six seasons, UConn has ranked in the nation’s top three for home average attendance and has been first for four of the last six years in overall home attendance.
In average home attendance UConn came in second behind St. Louis, who averaged 2,779 fans per game. Indiana headed the total soccer attendance record with 28,778 fans followed by Maryland with 27,585. UConn’s third place total brought in 26,202 fans over 11 games played at Morrone Stadium in Storrs.
