(October 26, 2004) - Jason Parajeckas earned individual medalist honors to help the University of Connecticut men’s golf team to a fourth place tie with host Temple at the fall season ending John MacDonald Classic at the Galloway National Golf Club in Absecon, N.J. The Huskies finished with a 626 for the two-round event which was won by Loyola College of Maryland with a 604.

Clint Hyland had to withdraw from the opening round but shot a 76 on Tuesday.
The event wraps up one of the most successful fall seasons in UConn’s recorded history. The Huskies won the New England Fall Championship outright for the first time since 1982, knocking off seven-time defending champion Rhode Island to do so. UConn also took first place last week at the Quinnipiac Bobcat Invitational. It marks the first time UConn has won two fall events since 1998, a team that advanced to NCAA Regional play that spring.
