Football Holds Annual NFL Testing Day

The University of Connecticut football team held its annual NFL Testing Day on Thursday in Storrs. Scouts from 12 different NFL teams were on hand to see a half dozen departing Husky seniors in action. The group performed a series of drills identical to those performed at the NFL's main scouting combine in Indianapolis in February.

The 40-yard dash and standing broad jump are staples of any NFL scouting combine.

The same can be said of a vertical leap test and the bench press. After the indoor work, the group moved outside for a series of agility drills and position specific drills.
