PITTSBURGH, PA – UConn wide receiver Skyler Bell (Bronx, NY) was selected in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft on Saturday by the Buffalo Bills with the 125th pick.
Bell is the third UConn wide receiver in program history to be selected in the NFL Draft. He joins former Husky wideouts Geremy Davis (2015 – NY Giants) and Marcus Easley (2010 – Buffalo Bills).
UConn has now had 46 players selected in the NFL Draft all-time and 32 players taken during the FBS era (2002-present).
Bell became UConn's first-ever Consensus All-American after being named to the first team of three of the five NCAA-recognized All-America lists. He garnered first team recognition by the Associated Press (AP), the AFCA and The Sporting News while also earning second team honors by the Walter Camp Football Foundation.
A finalist for the 2025 Biletnikoff Award, Bell finished this season with 101 catches for 1,278 yards and 13 touchdowns, setting new school records for receptions and TDs. Bell averaged 12.7 yards per catch and 106.5 yards per game. He led the country with seven 100-yard games this season. Over his two-year career at UConn, he played in 26 games and caught 151 passes for 2,138 yards and 18 touchdowns. He averaged 82.2 yards per game over his career to rank first all-time at UConn.
Over his collegiate career at UConn and Wisconsin, he appeared in 52 games with 220 receptions for 2,893 yards and 24 touchdowns.
Bell's selection marks the third-straight season a UConn player has been selected in the draft. He also joins former Husky and teammate Chase Lundt (OT) who was taken by the Bills in last year's draft in the sixth round. He is the first skill-position player from UConn taken since the 2015 draft when Davis was selected in the sixth round by the New York Giants.
