Softball's Castner Named To Buzz Classic All-Tournament Team

STORRS, Conn. (March 5, 2006) - University of Connecticut senior Kim Castner (Forked River, N.J.) was named to the 2006 Georgia Tech Buzz Classic All-Tournament Team following her performance in the Huskies five games in Georgia.
Castner was 3-for-13 for the weekend with one double. The senior also scored two runs and knocked in one run to earn the honor.
For the tournament, Castner and the Huskies went 2-3 with wins over Austin Peay and East Tennessee State University.
