Softball Game at Massachusetts Cancelled

STORRS, Conn. (April 29, 2008) - The University of Connecticut softball team's game at Massachusetts has been cancelled due to the rain in the area. The game will not be rescheduled.
The Huskies will conclude the regular season this weekend with two BIG EAST doubleheaders. UConn will host Louisville on Saturday, with game one scheduled for 12:00 p.m. The Huskies will host South Florida on Sunday, with game one also scheduled for 12:00 p.m. That game will be senior day and prior to the game, the team's three seniors Allie Gendron (Belchertown, Mass.), Kristina Tolles (Southington, Conn.) and Liz Gallinaro (Amherst, Mass.) will be honored.
