Men's Basketball Spends First Full Day in Detroit

STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut men's basketball team spent its first complete day in Detroit, Michigan on Thursday. The Huskies practiced at nearby Wayne State University before spending sometime on the hardwood at Ford Field in preparation for Saturday's game against Michigan State.
The UConn team enjoyed the 2009 Salute Dinner at historic Fox Theatre to cap off the full day. Jim Nantz hosted the annual dinner that celebrated all of the Final Four teams.
