Seven Former Huskies on CFL Rosters

STORRS, Conn. - A total of seven former University of Connecticut football players are currently playing in the Canadian Football League as the CFL heads into its third weekend of the regular season.
The seven players are:
Martin Bedard, who played at UConn from 2006-08, is a rookie for the Montreal Alouettes. A tight end at UConn, he plays fullback for Montreal
Terry Caulley, who played at UConn from 2002-06, is in his second year with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. The running back is currently on the injury list.
Maurice Lloyd, who played at UConn from 2001-04, is in his fourth CFL season and first with the Edmonton Eskimos. He is a middle linebacker.
Shawn Mayne, who played at UConn from 2003-05, is in his fourth CFL season with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and sees action on special teams and at defensive end.
Larry Taylor, who played at UConn from 20004-07, is in his second CFL season with the Montreal Alouettes and helped lead the team to an appearance in the Grey Cup game last year.
O'Neill Wilson, who played at UConn from 2001-04, is in his seventh year with the British Columbia Lions and is a wide receiver.
Jordan Younger, who played at UConn from 1997-99, is in his sixth year with the Toronto Argronauts and is a cornerback.
