Football To Host Three Practices Open to Public

STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut football team will hold three practices that are open to the public as it prepares for the 2009 season.
The three practices will be: Friday, August 14 from 3:15 p.m. to 5:35 p.m.; Thursday, August 20 from 3:55 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.; and Saturday, August 22, 9:10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The practices on August 14 and 20 will be held on the team's practice area off of Alumni Drive on the Storrs campus. Free parking for these practices will be available at "D Lot", which sits adjacent to the practice fields. Fans are invited to bring lawn chairs for seating during the open practices.
The practice on August 22 is tentatively scheduled for Memorial Stadium on the Storrs campus. Parking will be available in the South Campus garage, which is located across the street from Memorial Stadium and is connected to the UConn Co-Op. There will be a $3 pre-pay charge for parking in the garage.
Husky players and coaches will be available for autographs following the conclusion of the August 22 practice.
