INDIANAPOLIS - The University of Connecticut football team will be represented by three athletes this year at the NFL Combine. Running back Andre Dixon (New Brunswick, N.J.), wide receiver Marcus Easley (Stratford, Conn.) and defensive end Lindsey Witten (Cleveland, Ohio) will all be in attendance at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. for the 2010 Scouting Combine.
The combine, which will be held from Feb. 24 to March 2, is the annual job fair for prospective new NFL players. For six days at Lucas Oil Stadium, players are put through a series of drills, tests and interviews with more than 600 NFL personnel including head coaches, general managers and scouts.
