Volleyball Senior Contributes to San Francisco Chronical Article

STORRS, Conn. - Senior Devon Farrell (Lafayette, Calif.) of the University of Connecticut volleyball team contributed to an article in San Francisco Chronicle published on Tuesday. The article discusses platelet-rich plasma therapy or "blood spinning," a treatment Farrell used to gain the ability to finish out her collegiate career.
Entering her final season with the Huskies, Farrell struggled with severe pain from patellar tendinitis in her knee. The treatment was a success for Farrell who explains the positive affect of this evolving medical therapy.
