Greater Hartford Chapter To Host Kickoff Dinner

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. - The Greater Hartford Chapter of the UConn Alumni Association will host its annual Kickoff Dinner with UConn head football coach Randy Edsall at Rentschler Field on Thursday, August 5, 2010, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The event, which will take place on the Club Level, includes a cocktail hour and buffet, followed by discussion and a question and answer session with Coach Edsall and the team's captains.
Tickets are $38.00 for UConn Alumni Association members and $43.00 for non-members, while a table for eight may be reserved for the price of $330. The Kickoff Dinner is an annual fundraiser for the Hartford Chapter, and is typically attended by over 200 UConn alumni, fans and friends. Each year, proceeds from the Kickoff Dinner provide thousands of dollars of aid for scholarships, student programming and alumni activities in Storrs and the greater Hartford area.
Additionally, the Hartford Chapter's 2009 Kickoff Dinner was honored with the U-Pride Award by the UConn Alumni Association, in recognition as its most outstanding social program of the year.
