Huskies Featured On Sports Illustrated Cover

STORRS, Conn. (April 6, 2011) -After leading UConn to its third National Championship, junior guard Kemba Walker (Bronx, N.Y.) will be featured on the front cover of the upcoming Sports Illustrated issue. Walker was named the Final Four Most Outstanding Player.
This marks the second cover photo for UConn and Kemba Walker. The Consensus Unanimous First Team All-American was also featured on the front cover for the March Madness preview edition on Thursday, March 17.
Walker capped his incredible junior campaign with 16 points and nine rebounds in the NCAA Championship against Butler; a 53-41 UConn victory.
