STORRS, Conn. - The No. 18 UConn baseball team will host Louisville this weekend in a three-game BIG EAST Conference series beginning on Friday night at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, Conn. The game under the lights is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.cttigers.com or by calling the Tigers' box office at (860) 887-7962.

The Huskies enter the weekend with a 34-13-1 overall record and a mark of 18-3 in the BIG EAST Conference.
Entering the weekend, UConn is in first place in the league standings as St. John's (13-7) and West Virginia (13-8) round out the top-three teams in the conference.
The Huskies are 15-2-1 at home in 2011 after completing a three-game sweep of USF last weekend. UConn has won all of its last 13 games at home dating back to its 9-1 win over St. John's on April 2.
UConn is 5-9 all-time against Louisville since the 2006 season. The Huskies won their previous meeting with the Cardinals with a 6-4 win on March 27, 2010, which sparked UConn's 22-game win streak during that season.
After the three-game BIG EAST series with Louisville, UConn will travel to URI to take on the Rams in a non-conference contest which will be taped by Cox Television. The game will be aired on Cox Channel 3 (HD 784) on Wednesday, May 18 at 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, May 22 at 1:00 p.m.
UConn has a make-up game scheduled for Tuesday, May 17 at Northeastern and then close out the regular season with a three-game conference series at Cincinnati beginning on Thursday, May 19 at 6:00 p.m.
