Men's Basketball To Face Quinnipiac In Jam Semifinals

ST. THOMAS, V.I. - The University of Connecticut men's basketball team plays in-state foe Quinnipiac on Sunday night in the semifinal round of the U.S. Virgin Island Paradise Jam.
The Huskies, 3-0 on the season and ranked No. 23 in the country, will meet Quinnipiac at 9 p.m. and the game will be televised by CBS Sports Network and the UConn IMG Sports Radio Network.
The winner of that game will face the winner of the New Mexico vs. George Mason game on Monday at 10 p.m. for the championship. The consolation between the two semifinal losers will be Monday at 7:30 p.m.
UConn opened play in the event with a 75-71 win over Wake Forest while Quinnipiac had a thrilling overtime win over Iona.
Quinnipiac is coach by former UConn assistant Tom Moore and is a member of the Northeast Conference. QU is 2-1 on the year with a win over Hartford and a loss to American.
