Softball Postponed Due To Inclement Weather

ATHENS, Ga. -University of Connecticut softball team continued action on Saturday at the Georgia Classic before inclement weather forced a rain delay of the Huskies against Tennessee Tech. UConn's 7 p.m. game against Winthrop and Sunday's game against Buffalo has been cancelled.

The Huskies will resume their game against the Golden Eagles on Sunday morning at 11 a.m. in the bottom of the third inning. UConn holds a 3-1 advantage following senior Amy Vaughan's (Somerset, Mass.) three-run homer in the top of the second inning.
