UConn Baseball Games to be Broadcast by WTIC

STORRS, Conn.  - The University of Connecticut baseball team will be featured on a number of the WTIC Radio platforms as its 2012 season continues. The station is the flagship of the WTIC-UConn Sports Radio Network and all games will feature Joe D’Ambrosio, who is also the play-by-play voice of UConn men’s basketball and football.

WTIC.com and WTIC-FM-HD2 will broadcast the UConn vs. Cincinnati doubleheader on Saturday, May 5 from Dodd Stadium in Norwich. Those games begin at 1:00 p.m. WTIC.com and WTIC-HD-2 will also feature the Tuesday, May 15 game vs. Rhode Island at Dodd Stadium (11:00 a.m.) and the UConn vs. Notre Dame game from New Britain Stadium on Friday, May 18 at 6:00 p.m. The game vs. Notre Dame is the next to last regular season game for the Huskies.

WTIC.com will once again broadcast each UConn game from the BIG EAST Championship, which will be played in Clearwater, Fla., from May 23-27.
