STORRS, Conn. - Kicking off a three-game road stint, the UConn women's lacrosse team heads to UMass on Sunday, March 5 for a 1 p.m. matchup with the Minutewomen at Garber Field.
UConn enters Sunday's matchup an even 2-2 over defeating UNH 13-9 in its second home game of the season last Sunday. Sophomore Grace Nolan racked up eight points, including five goals and three assists, against the Wildcats.

The Huskies and the Minutewomen met in Storrs last season and UMass dished out UConn's first loss of the season, 15-6, which snapped a four-game win streak to start the year for the Huskies.

UMass is 1-3 so far this season with its only win coming on the road against Jacksonville where the Minutewomen pulled out a one-goal decision 14-13. Two out of UMass' three losses have been to ranked opponents, including No. 17 Boston College and No. 5 Syracuse.

In the team's most recent loss to No. 5 Syracuse, redshirt-sophomore Kiley Anderson scored four of UMass' eight total goals as the Minutewomen fell to the Orange 17-8 on the road at the Carrier Dome.
