STORRS, Conn. - College Soccer News recognized second year associate head coach Mike Miller as one of the top assistants in the country on Tuesday.
Miller was named one of the top 12 assistants in the Division I ranks after completing his first season in Storrs.
"I feel honored to be acknowledged once again this year by College Soccer News," said Mike Miller. "I have been very lucky to have had the opportunity to work not only for some of the best soccer programs and schools in the country but also with the best coaches and players."
"I am also so fortunate to be here at UConn learning every day from Coach Reid. I look forward to what should be a great 2017 season," said Miller.
Miller joined the Huskies after spending a year in the professional ranks at Sporting KC as a domestic scout. Miller spent time through his 13 years of collegiate experience at Syracuse, Duke and Evansville.
"Coach Miller is one of the top coaches in the country, said head coach Ray Reid. "He checks all the boxes of what is necessary to be an outstanding coach. He is very deserving of this recognition. His impact at UCONN is already being felt."
