Keegans, Santos Selected to NEWISA Senior Bowl

STORRS, Conn. - Seniors Liane Keegans and Elena Santos have been selected to play in the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association's 2018 Senior Bowl on Dec. 1 in North Andover, Mass.
The game will be played at Merrimack College at noon.
Keegans started all 18 matches for the Huskies in 2018 wrapping up her career starting all 83 games..Helped the Huskies defense secure 24 shutouts in her career.The senior finished her UConn career playing an impressive 7,545 minutes out of a possible 7,595 minutes. In 2016, Keegans was one of four UConn student-athletes to be recognized as an NSCA All-American.
Santos joined the Huskies prior to the start of junior year as a transfer. The West Hartford, Conn. native played in 35 games with 31 starts. She scored five career goals including four during her senior season. She added five assists during her time in Storrs.
