Okafor Becomes Three-Time All-American

STORRS, Conn. - Senior forward Chioma Okafor has moved into rare air with her selection as a 2025 United Coaches Third Team All-American, as announced by the United Coaches on Friday, Dec. 5.

Okafor becomes just the sixth Husky to earn All-America accolades for a third season. The Blantrye, Malawi native closed her UConn career by leading the Huskies for the fourth-straight season in goals (8) and points (17).

She finishes her four-year run in Storrs with 33 career goals and ranks 18th in program history with 81 points. The most for a UConn players since Rachel Hill's 140 career points from 2013-16.

Okafor earned All-BIG EAST First Team accolades for a third-straight season and landed on the United Coaches First Team All-East Region.
