UConn Prepares for Semifinal Bout with UCF

ORLANDO, Fla. – The 22nd-ranked and No. 4 seeded UConn Huskies continue postseason play in the AAC Men's Soccer Championship Semifinals against 7th-ranked and top-seeded UCF on Thursday at 7 p.m. on the American Digital Network. The Huskies used a dominant second half to propel itself past the Temple Owls, 3-1.
UConn and UCF previously met on the pitch back on Oct. 12, with both squads battling the full 110 minutes which resulted in a 0-0 scoreless draw.

Heading into the Matchup…
- UConn's conference mark of 3-2-2 earned them the fourth seed in the 2018 AAC Tournament.

Ray Reid leads the Huskies in his 22nd season as the head coach. A four-time National Coach of the Year and National Champion, Reid boasts the highest winning percentage (.744) among active coaches. Reid needs just two victories to reach the 300 career-win mark at UConn and is six wins away from 450 career successes.
